According to Facebook user and president of The National Security Council of Akpakip Eyo-Abasi Youth Association, Baron Ita, a man who tried to kill his mother in Oron, Akwa Ibom state was arrested by the security association and handed over to the police. He shared graphic photos of the incident and wrote;

The National Security Council of Akpakip Eyo-Abasi Youth Association led by the National President, Ulap Baron Ita Iniekung arrested suspected killer Who attempt to Kill his mother at the Early hour of 4AM of Sunday October 15th, 2017 at Anwana Abia Lane by Louis Ating Street, Oron. The killer is said to be an indigene of Udung Uko Local Government Area . Therefore, the suspected was handle over to Security agent(Nigerian Police Force) for the Law to take its course.
